3 WELLS in SOUTH SUDAN and UGANDA...
and
1 PROTECTED SPRING in KENYA..
Grateful for Buhl's own "Finest Water in America", the Lake Buhl 'yogis' have willingly donated half of all class fees to raise a total of $10,500 since 2010 to sponsor the completion of 3 wells in South Sudan and Uganda through Water Harvest International (aka 4Africa), as well as a protected spring in Kenya through The Water Project.
Glory to God for this life-changing opportunity for us to provide a future of clean drinking water in these countries--one village at a time. Sponsored wells were completed in South Sudan in May 2011 in the village of Aniwa, in June 2013 in Sokare-Kiri, and in June 2016 in Wudu Standard.
Most recently, funding was provided in Kenya for a protected spring project completed in Jan 2019 in Upper Visuru Community. Check out these photos and info regarding the Jan 2019 Upper Visuru Community Project
